creative, empathetic, adventurous and a dash of mystery...
Savannah Raus-Wuth is an interior designer practicing in Detroit, MI. Her designs blur the lines between art and nature, sourced from our deep-rooted need as humans to connect to the earth, seasons, and cycles. Savannah’s background in a myriad of creative industries including art, nature, wellness, sustainability and adaptive reuse drive her design process resulting in holistic, alluring and functional designs.
Creativity has the potential to be harnessed for good. Knowing this, and the importance of ethics and integrity construct the primary principles behind Savannah’s work. It is her desire and mission to bring life into the interior spaces we frequent most using poignant concepts, purposeful spatial planning, and a plethora of unexpected materials. She brings eleven years of professional experience to each and every design.
Savannah graduated Michigan State University while obtaining secondary education including LEED AP and NCIDQ certifications in tandem. Her time at Michigan State University included a supplementary internship working with the Michigan State University Residential and Housing Construction Department with Interior Designers and Architects to design the spaces she was using daily.
After graduation, Savannah obtained a position as an Interior Designer specializing in historic preservation and hospitality design in downtown Detroit where her love of Detroit began and still, relentlessly, thrives. Savannah currently works at Gensler as an interior designer with an emphasis on workplace design and strategy, while living in Detroit.
Savannah is a multi-award winning interior designer forever aiming to positively challenge the way we think of our interior spaces, and to represent and create long lasting relationships.
An artist, naturalist, seeker of adventure. A story teller, weaving each carefully developed narrative into the tapestry of each client's space. A collaborator, unearthing local artisan partnerships and integrating the community while providing functional designs.
